well..if i want the world to know it..i will shout it out myself..why la some ppl cant really respect others...!!!

Taking A Break!!!!
I was away attending a course conducted by CDC (Curriculum Developement Centre)in Beringgis Beah Resort in Papar from 7 - 9 Sept. It was one of the most relaxing course I ever had so far.

What we needed to do was to browse through a courseware developed by IH - International House, comment on the material and then we were taught how to go about with the material during teaching and learning process. The courseware was definitely good but I doubt teachers (speaking for myself actually!)have enough time to fully utilise the material.. but anyway, the effort taken by CDC to enhance students' performance in English should be given credit..

At the end of the one and half day course, during the the closing ceremony...I would like to quote what Dr. Azami Ibrahim from CDC said about the teaching profession.."Don't command respect from your students, we need to earn that respect because we are worth to be respected"

It was my first time staying in Beringgis Beach Resort..the place is quite nice, especially the beach. The chalet is not bad too. I would like to spend my next holiday here next time.

solar panels n mini turbines scattered all ard,they r exactly 30k of them!!

we ride wild boar.when the plane arrive at the
airport ,we take our wild boar n ride it all the way to our tree house.

no.just jungle trails n few roads ard town

5.u bidayuh form sulawesi there huh?
yes we r head hunters.human brain is the best food.

6.s'wak inside sabah right?
no,we're one independent state u idiot,sabah is a
town in s'wak.;)

7.eh,sabah s'wak not the same meh?
yes!!how many times i have to tell u sabah is a
town in s'wak

8.Kuching big ha?
soso la..but we have the largest population of
stray cats in the world.abt 400k,y do u think they
city is called kuching leh u idiot?!!

9.kuching got so many cats la....
YES LA!!!how many times i have to say??

10.Kuching got malay?
duh!

11.s'wak ppl can speak english?
no.but we speak french coz we were colonized by the french in the 18 century n then by the alliens in the 19,so our local dialect is pretty much based on the alien languages tht no one understand...

12.Kuching got airport or u use boat go johor..
kuching airport is only fit for fokker.... since a
fokker cant go so far...we have to use steamboats,no joking!!steam boats coz swak so
rich with timbers,its much cheaper than diesel or
any other petrol

1.the only state to be ruled by a white RAJAH.
2.swak is the largest state in m'sia.
3.swak supports whole m'sia with its own economy!! now u know how generous we r ! without us....where got PUTRAJAYA??where come KLCC?????

5.there r 27 ethnic groups tht speak 45 different
languages n dialects
6.70% are english literate!!
7.kuching international airport hosts a numer of
direct int'l flights!
8.swak has never achieved independence ruled by the BROOKE family,given to the british empire, offered to m'sia.

7TH most liveable city in the WORLD...even kl is behind at 12th..HAHA..

I knew them since i first came into the family about 10 years ago. They grew up to be beautiful and intelligent people.
Marina just completed her studies in UMS. Jurie, a gifted child (she is deaf), has just completed her diploma of engeneering recently. While the ever pretty and sexy, Nonie hasn't done much but aiming to be a stewardess.
Way to go girlssss!!!!!!!!

I saw the movie promo on tv and what attracted me most is this line

'Begitu sempitnya waktu, Begitu besarnya cinta'

Synopsis
Lando (Ricky Hanggono) seorang fotografer yang baru saja ditinggal tunangannya. Dalam kegalauannya ini dia bertemu dengan seorang gadis penjaga ticket busway yang bernama Kalin (Dian Sastrowardoyo). Lando pun kembali menemukan gairah hidupnya. Tapi hal ini tidak berlangsung lama, karena tanpa alasan yang jelas Lando meninggalkan Kalin begitu saja, yang membuat Kalin marah dan sakit hati.

Waktu terus berlalu, Lando yang tetap dengan kegalauannya mendapatkan Kalin sekarang telah menjadi seorang super model, dia melihat kehadiran kalin dimana-mana.

Timbul kerinduan dan keinginan untuk menemui Kalin kembali dan menjelaskan alasannya dulu pergi. Akhirnya kesempatan itu didapatnya, dia berhasil menemui Kalin, tapi lagi-lagi pertemuan ini berakhir dengan tragis karena Kalin mengalami kecelakaan dan mengakibatkan dia buta. Walaupun kemudian Kalin mendapatkan donor untuk kornea matanya yang membuat dia bisa melihat kembali, tetapi dia tidak melihat kehadiran seorang Lando, laki-laki yang sebenarnya sangat dia cintai.

Bisakah Kalin akhirnya bertemu dengan Lando, atau apakah kornea mata itu?? Begitu sempitnya waktu, begitu besarnya cinta !!

I asked my students to dramatise the story, King Midas and His Golden Touch, and they came up with a variation of scripts, sketches and ideas. I was impressed with their effort eventhough they only have less than a day to prepare for it.

King Midas touched his son and so his son turned into a golden stature.

"Mother, mother what happened to my roses?"

God Bacchuss granted King Midas a wish.

I came across this speech made by Bono from the rock band U2 while surfing the net. It was a great speech and served as an eye-opener to the cruelty and discrimination which most people turn a blind eye on nowadays.

The excerpt taken from the speech:

There's a truly great Irish poet his name is Brendan Kennelly, and he has this epic poem called the Book of Judas, and there's a line in that poem that never leaves my mind, it says: "If you want to serve the age, betray it." What does that mean to betray the age?

Well to me betraying the age means exposing its conceits, it's foibles; it's phony moral certitudes. It means telling the secrets of the age and facing harsher truths.

Every age has its massive moral blind spots. We might not see them, but our children will. Slavery was one of them and the people who best served that age were the ones who called it as it was--which was ungodly and inhuman. Ben Franklin called it what it was when he became president of the Pennsylvania Abolition Society.
