Hati Ini Telah Dilukai
Mood:  blue
Topic: Lyrics
Semalaman
Terkenangkan diri mu
Lalu airmata ku
Membasahi pipi
Mengapakah kau sanggup
Meninggalkan diri ku
Sedangkan kau tahu
Perasaan ini

Kau berjanji
Akulah kekasih mu
Sanggup ku singkirkan
Semua cinta yang lalu

Tidak ku duga
Ini akan terjadi
Kata perpisahan
Yang kau pinta

Biarkanlah...
Biarkan aku hidup sendirian
Tak ingin ku mengenangkan kisah lama
Biarkanlah...
Biarkan aku hidup sendirian
Kerana hati ini telah dilukai

Dramatisation
Mood:  happy
Topic: Events
I asked my students to dramatise the story, King Midas and His Golden Touch, and they came up with a variation of scripts, sketches and ideas. I was impressed with their effort eventhough they only have less than a day to prepare for it.

King Midas touched his son and so his son turned into a golden stature.

"Mother, mother what happened to my roses?"

God Bacchuss granted King Midas a wish.

I came across this speech made by Bono from the rock band U2 while surfing the net. It was a great speech and served as an eye-opener to the cruelty and discrimination which most people turn a blind eye on nowadays.

The excerpt taken from the speech:

There's a truly great Irish poet his name is Brendan Kennelly, and he has this epic poem called the Book of Judas, and there's a line in that poem that never leaves my mind, it says: "If you want to serve the age, betray it." What does that mean to betray the age?

Well to me betraying the age means exposing its conceits, it's foibles; it's phony moral certitudes. It means telling the secrets of the age and facing harsher truths.

Every age has its massive moral blind spots. We might not see them, but our children will. Slavery was one of them and the people who best served that age were the ones who called it as it was--which was ungodly and inhuman. Ben Franklin called it what it was when he became president of the Pennsylvania Abolition Society.

Song : The Day You Went Away

Verse 1
Well I wonder could it be
When I was dreaming 'bout you baby
You were dreaming of me
Call me crazy, call me blind
To still be suffering is stupid after all of this time

Pre-chorus 1
Did I lose my love to someone better
And does she love you like I do
I do, you know I really really do

Chorus
Well hey
So much I need to say
Been lonely since the day
The day you went away
So sad but true
For me there's only you
Been crying since the day
The day you went away

Verse 2
I remember date and time
September twenty second
Sunday twenty five after nine
In the doorway with your case
No longer shouting at each other
There were tears on our faces

Pre-chorus 2
And we were letting go of something special
Something we'll never have again
I know, I guess I really really know

Chorus
The day you went away
The day you went away

Pre-chorus 1
Chorus

Bridge
Why do we never know what we've got 'til it's gone
How could i carry on
The day you went away
Cause I've been missing you so much i have to say
Been crying since the day
The day you went away

The day you went away
The day you went away

The Pen Is Mightier Than a Sword
So the saying goes...indeed the pen is mightier than a sword..though it can't hurt physically but it can cause emotional disruption.

As a teacher, I've injured lotsa students by giving them an X in thier written work.

..wrong answer!!!

Happy Birthday My Love!
Mood:  party time!
Today is Azam's birthday...due to the tight schedule and rain, we couldn't celebrate it outside. I thought of having his birthday at my mom's place, but the rainy season didn't allow us to do so (KK was badly flooded!)So, we bought a small cake (just enough for the 4 of us) and drinks...Anyway, the most important thing to do during any birthdays is singing the "Happy Birthday" song.

Azam is 10 today! He is a handsome young man now :)
He is the love of my life.
Happy birthday darling...

Raining cats and dogs!
Mood:  cool
It has been raining since 4.00 p.m...
and now at 11.08 p.m., it still rains....
there is water everywhere..
dried soil suddenly becomes pools of mud..
raindrops on window glass...
rhythmic sounds of rain on the roof...
wet air..cold..
makes me thinking of crawling under the blanket..
the warmth underneath..and....

Broken Pieces
When something is broken,
it goes into pieces,
it won't ever be the same again,
no matter how well we try to mend it.

Everything in life is fragile...

Jokes
Subject: Women are like Apples

Women are like Apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good one's because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. So instead, they just take the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along. The one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the
tree.

Share this with women who are good apples, even those who have already been picked!

Now men ... Men are like a fine wine. They begin as
grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Sometimes
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Ramblings
Sometimes...
life feels so empty,
a meaningless journey
heading nowhere.
Looking at a blank space,
eyes closed.

Stand still..
time stands still,
as i recall yesterday memories.
Pictures of broken dreams...unbroken.

Here..
I am..
still...
